Chinese Long March Rocket Launcher news


It has been reported that parts of China’s Long March rocket, launched on Monday fell to Earth this event has caused heavy damage two houses

The launch was China’s first moon rover mission. The incident has happened after the parts of Long March 3B launch vehicle separated 8 minutes after the launch and fell on the ground piercing the wooden roofs of houses causing the damages.

Although no casualties were reported, the Chinese authorities have agreed to pay compensation to the damaged households.

As China’s space program is expanding with over 20 launches a year the residents of Hunan province has become increasingly hazardous.


In another development a Chinese-Brazilian satellite launched by the Chinese Long March launcher  failed to reached its planned orbit and likely fell back to Earth according to Brazil's Ministry of Science The CBERS-3 satellite was developed jointly by China and Brazil.

.The said satellite was the fourth in a series designed to monitor land use in Brazil. Brazil now uses the US and European facilities to monitor its resources.


Brazil has its own ambition of building and launching satellites. A deal was reported last month between Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer SA and state telecom Telebras to build and launch a satellite by 2016.
